Green Smoothie Recipe - 2

Hello,

It has been a bit silent here so I thought I would write a quick post to tell you what green smoothie we had this morning:

Big bunch of parsley (salsinha)
8 small bananas
water (agua)
4 spoons of soaked flax seeds (semente de linhaça germinado)

Easy as can be and ready in less than 5 minutes.
Put parsley in your blender, fill with water, and blend. add bananas until you are satisfied with the flavour (might be more or less than our 8) in the end add the flax seeds.
Blend well, and pour into glass and drink.
To start your day with something tasty and healthy makes a lot of sense, show your body you love it by only giving it the best.

Parsley- as all greens they are full of minerals and vitamins, greens are vital for good vibrant health. For those who wonder about proteins, all leafy greens provide you with amino acids, which your body use to build human proteins.

Bananas -  This golden yellow fruit is amazing, great for energy, high in potassium, B6 and Vitamin C to mention just a few of the reasons to eat them. Don't let black or brown skin on the banana put you off, that means it is just very ripe, eating ripe fruit is kinder to the stomach.

Flax seeds: these small little seeds are amazing, they are a good source for Omega-3's and a fantastic source for dietary fibres. Soak your seeds for a minimum of 6 hours (in the fridge) before you eat, to get them alive and easily assimilable for your body. Keep your flax seeds stored in the fridge.
